This painting is the first in my new Cleeve Hill Collection, titled Where the Sky Larks Sing. Cleeve Hill is not only an area of outstanding natural beauty but also home to a large population of skylarks, whose melodic songs create a magical backdrop to this stunning landscape. Skylarks are known to sing at night, and I was fortunate to experience their music while walking beneath a full moon. The sky glowed with a beautiful golden hue, casting a warm reflection across the landscape and this painting is inspired by this scene
