This artwork is heavily textured and makes for a sophisticated feature painting for any room,
Tony’s newest work explores a deep sense of connection with the organic world. Using colours of the earth – soft greys, blues and muted browns, – he takes the viewer into a meditative, spiritual experience of the genius loci (the spirit of place). The strong use of texture animates the works, imbuing them with a tactile, dynamism. This series was stimulated by a recent visit to Madrid, in particular the work of Luis Feito which is so alive with light, colour and texture.
