Silence of Light
“Silence of Light” is a painting that depicts a calm and serene scene through the use of grey, blue, and whites colors. The painting also features a good leaf, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. The overall effect of the painting is one of quietness and stillness, evoking a sense of contemplation and introspection
This series of paintings is my largest ever project as I am painting 365 artworks of Sennen Cove. One for each day of the year. I have been inspired and captivated by this beautiful, magical bay in a remote part of western Cornwall near Lands End.
Many of these paintings have been published in my recent book called “A Moment in Time”
No two days are the same and each painting endeavours to catch a moment in time using abstraction to convey a sense of mood, time and place.
