I just love this painting and feel it is one of the best artworks that I have painted. It depicits a beautiful Sennen Sunset and has right balance of texture and colour. It looks beautiful hanging on a wall and I think will enhance any room. I will be very sad to see this painting go.
Each picture depicts a single day and time of the week. The artworks are a mixture of memory, impression and abstraction along with the changing weather conditions. They try to capture the very soul and essence of this magical place in Cornwall. I just adore using texture and it helps give the painting a multi dimensional feel.
The dimensions are: Framed Size: Size: Width 41inches & Height 32inches – This painting is framed in a bespoke hand painted contemporary shadow white frame.
This series of paintings is my largest ever project as I am painting 365 artworks of Sennen Cove. One for each day of the year. I have been inspired and captivated by this beautiful, magical bay in a remote part of western Cornwall near Lands End.
Many of these paintings have been published in my recent book called “A Moment in Time”
No two days are the same and each painting endeavours to catch a moment in time using abstraction to convey a sense of mood, time and place.
At the end of this project it is my intention to hold an exhibition of prints that show the whole collection together in chronological order and later in the year
