I am absolutely delighted with my new 2nd edition book that explores the connection between Poetry, Light and Sea at Sennen Cove Cornwall. The book chronologically traces the year, beginning with the stark but beautiful month of January, using lyrical poetry written by Dr Rosalind Davie and a selection of my paintings to build a synergistic narrative.
Sennen Cove is located at the western tip of Cornwall very close to Lands End and is a beautiful and magical cove. Sennen comes from the Cornish for ‘holy headland’
This book is based on a series of paintings of my largest ever project. I am painting 365 artworks of Sennen Cove. One for each day of the year. I have been inspired and captivated by this beautiful, magical bay in a remote part of western Cornwall near Lands End.
