“Retribution” captures the raw power of nature in a stormy seascape, where dark, churning waves crash beneath a sky heavy with fury. Ominous clouds swirl as golden light splits the horizon, casting an eerie glow over the turbulent waters. The painting evokes a sense of nature’s wrath—both chaotic and majestic—reminding viewers of the ocean’s untamed force and the inevitability of retribution.
This series of paintings is my largest ever project as I am painting 365 artworks of Sennen Cove. One for each day of the year. I have been inspired and captivated by this beautiful, magical bay in a remote part of western Cornwall near Lands End.
